Frank Kane

Frank Kane is a journalist and strategic communications adviser with nearly two decades of experience covering and advising on the Gulf's energy, finance and geopolitical landscape. He began his career in the UK national
press before relocating to the Middle East, where he has since built a reputation as one of the region's most respected commentators on oil markets, sovereign wealth and financial sector transformation.

He contributes regularly to Arabian Gulf Business Insight and PetroleumEconomist, and in 2025 received the International Energy Journalism Award for Lifetime Achievement.

Alongside his editorial work, Frank spent six years as a communicationsconsultant to Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Energy. He has also advised First Abu Dhabi Bank on strategic communications and reputational positioning, among other consulting roles in the UAE and Saudi
Arabia.
